A new client came in feeling frantic and looking for an answer to a dilemma in her romantic life. She was a professional, accomplished and mature woman. Her question was whether it would be in her best interest to leave her marriage and pursue a committed relationship with someone else.
I used primarily the I Ching, along with cards and a pendulum. The reading was crystal clear: pursuing the other relationship appeared likely to create serious distress. I had rarely seen an answer come through so strongly.
About two and a half to three years later, I received an urgent call from the woman asking to see me. She arrived in tears. She told me that, among several professional intuitives she had consulted, my reading was the only one she believed had accurately warned her about the decision. She had left her marriage, the new relationship had become deeply painful, and she now needed to decide how to deal with the consequences.
Guidance may reveal the dominant direction of the energy at that moment, but the client still makes the choices.
I believe that all of us have intuitive abilities. I have felt strongly called to use my gifts for the benefit of others. I am also clear that I am not the source of the information. Whatever name one gives that source—Spirit, God, the Higher Self or something else—I see myself as a vehicle.
A reading does not remove free will or create a fixed future. It can illuminate patterns and likely outcomes, but a client can make different choices and change what happens next. The purpose is clarity, not control.
